I have been doing genealogy for about 10 years but am not doing as much now because of poor health. But I do enjoy it very much and try to keep searching once in awhile. I am mainly looking for information on my Scott family. John Calvin Scott and wife Margaret G. MacDuffy married in Marshall, MS and moved to Yell, AR by 1905 and are there in the 1910 census. They lived around Wing, Ola, and Briggsville in Yell County. Their sons Jesse and Glen worked at Forester, AR at the lumber mill for awhile and maybe more of their family did also. John Calvin Scott's sister was Sarah Rebecca Judith Scott who married Anderson Jeptha "Jep" Parham (My g-grandparents) and they were also born in MS and moved to Yell, AR with John and his family. They moved on to Paris, Logan County, AR by 1914. Genealogy has been lots of fun. It is a wonderful hobby and I have met the nicest people during my research.
