Although you can tell that this is not a picture of me, it is the picture of my best friend,James Allen Adams who died 8/18/09. James is the father of my son, Derek James Adams and in this picture, he is holding his first and only grandson, LaKota James Adams - taken in 2005.
I am the daughter of Robert Alfred Hodges (1918 to 1962). He is buried in Seattle, Washington. He served in the Army in the WWII and Korean Conflict. He retired from the military after 28 years as SFC.
My Uncle Pete (Otho Pete Buchwald) is also buried at Golden Gate National Military Cemetary in San Bruno.
My brother, Dennis Dean Hodges (10/27/40 to 9/18/61) was killed in a helicopter crash while in the US Navy. Dennis is also at Golden Gate National Military Cemetary.
These people were a great influence in my life and I truly miss them. Find a Grave has made a difference in my life in that although I cannot travel to visit their gravesites, I can just log on and "visit" anytime I want.

The latest loss in my life was my mother, who at almost 92 years of age, died on March 18, 2010. Etna Ellsworth Stephenson Hodges Floyd.
