I am a lover of history and genealogy. I received my history degree from Kansas State University, thus my email address. I really became involved in researching my genealogy about 5 years ago when I was laid off for 8 months- I had a lot of time on my hands. Taking photos of the graves of my ancestors has been a hobby of mine since gathering info on all of those that came before me- Through websites such as Rootsweb, I have found many friends that have taken photos of these headstones- and I have made a practice to return the favor whenever requested. Just recently, someone mentioned this great site and I hope to be able to assist others in locating and photographing headstones of their family and friends. The past should always be remembered, we can learn a lot of our past as we look to our future. Lets all keep the past alive by sharing and remembering all of those that helped shape our country.
