A 1975 graduate of Cumberland High School, married to the former Elizabeth Anne Murphree. They have 3 children, Alice Roxanne, Tracey Keith and Amber Marie as well as 4 grandchildren.
John is the Electrical Manager for one of the world's largest construction companies headquartered in Birmingham. Alabama. He has traveled extensively in the US but refuses to go overseas.
