My immediate family originated in New York and New Jersey. Most were immigrants in the 1800's from Germany, Belgium, Scotland, Ireland and Ukraine/Poland. My husband's family have been settled in Kentucky/Tennessee/Virginia for many generations after immigrating from England in the 1500's.
