Bio

I am a retired school teacher from the Arlington and Palo Verde Elementary School Districts located southwest of Phoenix. Since retirement, I have been living in the retirement community of Sun City, Arizona. I am a native Arizonan born in the copper mining town of Miami, Gila County, Arizona. Since retirement I have devoted much of my time towards my cacti and succulent collection, as well as towards building a family tree for the Arizona branch of the Smith and Kirk families. I have been a member of the find a grave organization for just a little while and would be glad to assist anyone, wherever and whenever I can.
I have been researching the Applewhites on my father's side who descended from the Rev. James Applewhite buried in Vaiden, MS, especially the ones that migrated west to Texas, Oklahoma, etc. I'm also very interested in gathering more info on the Lathams who are also on my father's side and are descended from Henry B. Latham of MS. Would also like to find pictures of any of their grave markers.
