I am an Oregonian...born in McMinnville in 1950. My family were Pioneers to the Oregon Territory in the 1800s.
My grandmother was a wonderful storyteller. As a child I grew up hearing exciting stories about my Pioneer relatives lives.

My Mother's (Marilynn Mae Murray Austin) Father's family settled in Camas Valley, Oregon. There is a Murray Cemetery where many of them are now laid to rest. I would love to be able to find the Murray Cemetery one day. I now live in Bend, Oregon.

I have an attachment to Bellfountain Pioneer Cemetery in Bellfountain, Oregon. Many from my Grandmother's side of the family are buried there. Several traveled the Oregon Trail from Kansas in the mid 1800s. I have a rose bush in my back yard that was from a clipping from my Great Grandmother's grave.
