I am 80 now. I have been working on my family tree on and off for 25 years. I keep running into snags. For instance my grandfather had a father but no mother was listed on his birth certificate. I have heard of people not having a father listed but I though this was unusual. I like going to cemeteries and reading the stones. I also like going to old museums and visiting older homes. I got into this because I thought I could help someone find their ancestors.
