I have been working on my family history for close to 30 years, in my spare time. I was very lucky to have a Grandpa who used all his free time and energy working on Genealogy. He was also an amateur Civil War Historian. He sparked my interest in my heritage. The family lines I have mainly been working on are; Bergers, Berry, Benton, Bylow/Bilow/Boileau, Byrket, Devendorf, Fallon, Ford, Hite, Kellar, Lechler, Milbourn, Orr, Rondeau, Valiquet & Velliquette, and on my husbands side; Wilson, Dodge, Adams, Ulmer, Grochowski and Mallory. My middle son and I enjoy going to the cemeteries and looking for ancestors headstones, and reading other peoples and marveling at some of the beautiful stones and the humor and ingenuity the past generations came up with.
