Bio

I was born in Nashville, and my parents are Grant Turner and Audrey Faye Grose. My mother later married again and I had one half sister and two half brothers, who are very close to me. We are all that is really left except some great uncles and one great aunt. On my father's side I have one aunt and two first cousins. I live near Knoxville, and I am a retired teacher. I keep my grandchildren four days a week and tutor on the fifth day. I have had some neck problems the past 5 years due to car accident injuries and osteoarthrities, so I enjoy the computer when I can rest. I recently completed research for my Turner ancestors from Wilson County and Texas. This was a month long journey, but very interesting. I have already traced my husband's ancestry back to 1810 in Blount County, to try to find the age of a home his father had on his property after his death in 2005. My hobbies are decorating, travel, reading, scrapbooking, and crafts.
