Bio

I am Woodrow D. Hinkley's niece. His sister Viola Pearl Hinkley gave birth to me in December 1950 at the White Shields Home, Tacoma, Wa. Viola Pearl died on November 9, 1951, at Western State Hospital, Fort Steilacoom, Washington. I only recently learned about my family because I was adopted, but today I can be the first to honor one of my family with a tribute page to Uncle Woodrow. His parents, my grandparents were John Alanson Hinkley and Beatrice Pearl Halsey Hinkley. He was the oldest of 7 children that I have been able to trace.Nellie, Lila, John and Velma (twins) my mother Viola Pearl and Pearl Violet Hinkley Parker.I hope that others will see this and email me with more information. In loving Memory of My uncle.
