Bio

I was born in Monmouth, Illinois in 1948. After graduating from Monmouth High School in 1966, I attended Western Illinois University and studied music. I finished my undergrad at Monmouth College.
A job offer in Omaha, Nebraska brought me to my new home in late 1973. With a few years of touring & concertizing under my belt, I made Omaha my home. After graduate study at Univ. of Nebraska-Omaha, I joined the adjunct faculty at Creighton University. A time I fully enjoyed.
In the past 36 years I have been very active in the performing/education arts in this region, nationally & internationally.
Local highlights include: Canon Precentor (organist/choirmaster) Trinity Episcopal Cathedral [25 years]; Music Director/Conductor Omaha Playhouse [15 years]; Various affiliations with Opera Omaha (regional professional company), including associate conductor & chorusmaster; I continue my association with this vibrant arts community with my work in the vocal dept. at Central High School, Countryside Community Church (UCC), as well as adjunct keyboard work with the Omaha Symphony. I am a professional pianist, organist, and vocal coach.
I have many other interests as well.
