Bio

I am the granddaughter of Glenn M. Rice of the Indiana branch of the family. Our line comes through Henry Rice Sr. who with his three sons moved to Indiana and one son stayed in Ohio. My Grandfather did the Henry Rice History book and started me on way to doing the family history. I lived in Wayne County for over ten years researching the records and traveling to many cemeteries researching the family so that correct names and dates were with the correct families. I spent many hours in the court house and visiting with older members of the families to get their memories. I have many pictures and stories of the families. Oh yes I was very lucky to have been raised on the original homestead of Henry Rice Sr. It was in the family for over a hundred years before my grandmother sold it to an outsider. If you wish to trade information I can be reached at the above listed email address. I also am a volunteer at the genealogy room in our library where I record and update all the local cemeteries. I walk the them and record the burials in books for the shelves. I also add all the additonal information that is available on the people from birth, death, newspapers, funeral home records.
