I started with Findagrave while doing geneology research on my family and stumbled across the website quite by accident.

I grew up in Alva, Ok and although I live in south central Kansas now, I go to Alva at least once a year. (Because I live out of state, this limits me on checking the photo volunteer box on this bio.) However, I will do what I can to assist other researching their ancestors in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. The Catholic Cemetery (Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery), is across the road south of the Alva cemetery. It is a small one and easy to walk to locate family members. Those seeking family here would probably need to contact Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alva for burial information as there doesn't seem to be an on-line list of burials for this cemetery. There is an on-line link/address for the Alva cemetery records which I have should anyone need it. The list was up-dated recently.
