I am a full time mom & babysit my grandson full time. I have 2 sons and 2 step kids. On May 15th 2006 my father passed away from lung cancer complications. After that I moved in with my Mother to take care of her as she had COPD. In July 2006 Mom was put on Hospice and I took care of her everyday up until she passed on to join my Dad on May 3rd 2007. Now on August 23rd 2007 my brother Chuck, who is 12 years my senior, passed in his sleep at the age of 49.
On October 28th 1995 my only sister passed away at age 39, she was 14 years older than me. I then lost my oldest brother Randy on April 8th 2021 and my sole surviving sibling James passed on Jan 10 2022.
I've also lost a few very close friends over the years.My close friend Kristi passed on at age 33 In September 2007, just about 2 weeks after my brother did. And my bff of 35 years Lisa passed in June 2016.
I've had to deal with a lot of grief in my life, especially this last couple of years, but I just try to make the best out of the hard times and to learn and grow from them. I know that one day I will see them again and that they are in a wonderful place and are checking in on me from time to time, and that comforts me.
It's just so hard learning to live without those special people in my life. But my kids and my grandson and amazing boyfriend keep me going!
