I DEDICATE THIS PAGE TO POLLY WILLIAMS FROM LONDON.
I found this site only today and as Polly was a close friend of mine but many years ago, I decided to join and leave my dear old MATE some daffodils, my favorite flower. Polly and I met in Rome during the seventies...both modelling. we became good friends for many years until she left to go back home to England and myself back to Australia years later...but we did loose contact for a long time. I found Polly years later married to Nigel so once again kept contact but again...distance draws one apart. The daffodil says so much for me, the beginning of spring, the beginning of life, happiness. So my dear Polly, your new life has started above, a place where you will be always happy. Rest in peace Polly. Jackie Ringersma-Mager
PS: I have a Father in America who I do not really know. I did read on the internet that a George Mahan from Maine died in the 80's. I suppose it could be him though there is a chance it might not be. If anyone out there knew/knows a George Mahan who would be in his eighties, please let me know. Thanks so much.
Just breifly: when I was living in Europe Cary Grant who I was close to, found my Father for me in Maine. I did visit him but lost contact much to the disaproval of Cary. I then returned home to Australia after 15 years in Europe and Singapore and slowly forgot that I had a Father.I suppose its never to late to lay flowers on his grave if he did in fact pass away. So I would be grateful to anyone who would know or have the possibility to find out. Thanks so much.
