I am the proud mother of Cory Brown. He passed away very suddenly during a nap on Feb. 23, 2006. Cory had multiple medical problems, hydrocephalus, seizure disorder, kidney disease and he was developmentally delayed. We will never know for sure what happened but his dr. believes he had a seizure that stopped his heart that day. His little body was just so tired and battered from the years of seizures and surgeries and so many medications. I miss him so much that it is impossible to express. My heart is forever broken but I try to keep going because I know he would want me to. He was a joy to me and I was so blessed to have him in my life for these too short 19 years. I am also very honored to be the mom of Cory's older and much beloved brother, Ian. My two boys were not only incredibly close brothers but also best friends. Ian is lost without him but we are trying together to get through this and to learn to live without him. It is so hard but we have each other and supportive friends and family and with God's help and guidance and Cory's, we will make it.
