Bio

Genealogy came into my life in 1965 when I decided to find out who my ancestors were. Never did I surmise a life-time of research was ahead of me.

Presently I am the coordinator of the Barry County, MOGenWeb site but started a genealogy society when I was 32 years old.

One of my great-great grandmothers was a Cherokee Indian. Also I have a Creek Indian in my line of ancestors that goes back 6 or 7 generations on the other side of my family.

I am member of both the Mayflower Society and the DAR and enjoy doing web page work.
