Bio

I was born in Detroit Michigan in 1951, lived 1957
thru 1962 in Port Huron with many summers in Harbor Beach at the cousins and grand parents (where now I live 'virtually' chasing ancestoral ties! ;-)

Moved as a young lad to Ft Lauderdale Florida summer of '62, where I did all my formative years; including college (UF, Gainesville) and initial corporate life. This is also the state where three of my four children were born from 1977-81, save one who was born in Georgia in '79 when we lived in Gwinnett County from late '77 through 1980. Moved to California in early 1982 and have been out here ever since.

As of January 2013 I am father of 4, remarried for 17 years and step-father to 2 more. Grandfather of 6 (soon 7) husband to my lovely 1995 bride Lily, a Peruvian immigrant when she was in her teens.

Active genealogist, when I can find the time while
employed. Got the bug in the late 70's and
contributed a great deal (via a 1981 trip to England) to a 4 volume publishing of "The Silverthorn History" in 1982 by Montgomery Reed. Mr Reed was kind to name me as co-author of the "English Origins" which made up about half of the first volume. Mr Reed passed away in 2012, we will miss him.

Currently residing in San Diego, California.
