Researching my family genealogy came from a simple question from my father. Where did his family come from? I started when I was 18. Now, 30 years later, I am still researching, mostly for other people since I found all the pieces to my fathers family puzzle. I have come to realize that recording family history is important not only to the living but to honor those who have passed before us.
