My father moved to Mississippi in 1919 from Dickson County, Tennessee. My mother's ancestors arrived in Calhoun County, Mississippi in the 1840's. Some of my ancestors surnames, in addition to Beck and Ramsey, were Henderson, Hughes, Brown, Thurmond, Shelton and Greer.
