Born in Altoona, PA in 1940. Lived in MD since 1947. Graduated Kenwood High School, Essex, MD. in 1958. US Army Reserves 1957-1989; retired as MSG. Worked for Social Security Admin 1959-1999; retired as GS-12 Computer Systems Analyst. Married Linda Wertz in Altoona 1963. Have 2 daughters (Lisa Ann and Jennifer Lin), and 2 granddaughters (Kaitlin Elizabeth, born 1991, and Marissa Hope, born 1993)..
Current part-time job is delivering flowers 2 days a week.

As of Dec. 1, 2013 we had our first great-grandchild (and first boy in either family), named Bentley Dale. Born to Kaitlin, on her birthday.
As of Mar. 12, 2017, we had our second great-grandson, Jayden Thomas, born to Marissa.
As of Mar. 28, 2019 we had our third great-grandson, Jaxon Ray, born to Marissa, one day before her birthday.
In Oct. of 2019 I quite my part time job, after 18 years.
