My family taught me to appreciate cemeteries as a way to respect the dead and to remember who I am from. For our family, taking care of cemeteries is not at all morbid, but a celebration of those we have loved and those we come from. I am now teaching this to my daughter. She assists me in the pursuit of documenting our family cemeteries and cemeteries in our area. She sometimes manages to get in the pictures.
