Bio

One of my earliest memories is being pushed for afternoon walks in the grave yard a few doors down (and across the tracks) from our apartment in Glendale, Queens, NY. I was eye level with the gravestones and it was very peaceful.
My family is the from the old school - were you make visits to relatives on a regular basis to remember them - these days its more on holidays and birthdays/death days. I'm trying to continue the custom. When I am on vacation it is not odd for me to search out famous gravestones. My most touching were my personal pilgrimages to: Seattle to visit Brandon & Bruce Lee in 1994...and Althorp (England)to visit Diana, Princess of Wales in 2001. Jimi Hendrix (also in Seattle) and Christa McAuliffe (stumbled upon her in NH by chance)...among many historical graves. It's good for the living to visit graves to remember those whose memories remain behind...still loved.
Missing you more than words Dad 12/28/14, Until we meet again.
Now turning to ancestry and finding the graves of family in Scotland and Ireland if possible.
