I am a descendant of Irish and Scottish Wiselys from the 1800's who arrived in Philadelphia, PA in 1819.
Samuel Wisely and Mary McCracken were my 5th great grandparents. Mary McCracken Wisely is buried in Vandalia, Indiana, at the Garrard Cemetery in the same gravesite with her 2 sons, James and John Wisely, and their wives, Anna and Jane Scott Wisely.
I am researching all Wisely connections from County Derry, Ulster and Northeast Scotland. I have much information to share for the records I have already accumulated (photos and written) since 1999.
