I found FindAGrave after finding my missing grandfather of 40 years, William Ray Peters aka Bud. Grandpa was last seen at the bus stop at Woody's Pawn Shop in Arlington, Texas. He passed away in Pixley California 6 years after he disappeared. No relatives located. I wanted to have a place to memorialize his good name and memory. I didn't know Grandpa personally, as he disappeared a year and a half before i was born. But through memories Momma shared with me, i feel i know everything there is to know about him. I have photos i need to find family members for so i can send them to their loved ones. When Momma passed away, she left behind a slew of photos. I believe they are pictures of people she grew up with in Arlington, Texas. Momma went to Arlington High School around 1957 on up. Her name is Linda Janice Peters. Momma dated Bubba Thompson. She married Robert Foster at age 17. The marriage didn't last a year. Still at age 17, she married my daddy, Jack Glyn Ward. Many say Momma was the most beautiful girl to grace Arlington. Looked like Sandra Dee except she was brunette. Daddy was in the Star-Telegram as most handsome man in Arlington.
