Bio

Hello, I live in western Michigan. My husband, Bill, and I were blessed with 11 children. I enjoy all of our kids, 29 grandkids, and 19 great-grandkids who come to visit me at our home on the lake. Sadly, my husband, Bill, passed away on Sept. 30, 2011, and he was the love of my life. I miss him every single day, and look forward to seeing him again someday when the Lord calls me home to heaven.

My father's family has a rich history in the United States going back to the 1600s. You may read about our family's history starting with my father, Dalton Brooks. Interesting family ancestors include Civil War veteran, Lawrence Dye, and Hans Laurentszen Duyts, who was part of the British occupation resistance in New Netherlands, NY.
