I am currently researching the Blank, Schaffner, Miller, Haag families. All were German immigrants who came to the US in the mid-1800's settling in NYC. The families all moved to Brooklyn (mostly Bushwick) in the 1880's. As a side project I'm researching Brizzee, Ackerman, Dobrowolski, Cross all originated in upstate NY, for a good friend.
