But, how is still unproven. The theory is Ezekiel Sr>Jeremiah>Peter>Asa>Christopher Sr born 1774 in CT. Proven is the rest of the line from Christopher Sr>Christopher Jr>William J>Martin Dexter>Merrill Martin>me.
I've been a Macintosh computer user since 1984 but did not get started with genealogy until 1999 when the Mormons put data on line. I got involved with a Main surname DNA study in 2005 and it has proven things that the paper records could not.
