Bio

I research Arkansas,Oklahoma (Indian Territory), Mississippi, and Tennesee. I enjoy history and genealogy, and feel that a life lived, is worth recording. My research passions are the Freedmen of Oklahoma, African American history, Civil War Soldiers especially the USCT's buried in National cemeteries, and much more.

I am the author of "Black Indian Genealogy Research" and publisher of The Frontier Freedman's Journal, and Freedom's Spirit--an Arkansas Journal.

"An ancestor never dies till there is no one left to call their name."
