Attended West Covina High School for three years and graduated in 1963 from Bonita High School, La Verne. Graduated from Mt. San Antonio College. Worked for General Telephone from 1963 to 1972. Married and divorced Gary Sprung 1963-1965, Alan Bollier 1965-1971. Married John A. Downs in 1971 and gave birth to John Andrew Downs, 1972, and James Robert Downs, 1974. Divorced in 1978. Married Lee G. Courtney in 1987.
