Back in the 70's I sat down with my in laws, grandparents and parents and wrote down their family info by hand. It stayed in a notebook for years. About 20 yrs later a friend gave me a copy of Family Tree Maker for my birthday. So I decided to enter what info I had. I interviewed more family members. Missing pieces began to fall into place. But of course that brought more questions. At that point a lot of my relatives had died. Then Ancestry, Roots Web, State GenWeb sites became available on the internet. So I search on. I did the DNA test with Ancestry. Has shown me a lot of relatives. Now to make connections to find more info. Can never have enough information. I'm addicted!
