I started researching family history in 1968 when I was nine years old after reading a biography of Simon Kenton which prompted my grandmother to bring out of storage photographs, clippings, and family Bibles related to my Kenton ancestors. Since then I have researched my families all over the US, the UK, India, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. Have co-authored two histories of Scott County, Kentucky, and have worked on many other history projects.
