I first discovered findagrave.com while searching for information on how to obtain death certificates over the internet. After my best friend passed away in September of 2001, I ordered copies of death certificates for my brother, as well as five friends who had passed away in less than a nine year period. However, I hesitated to submit their burial information into findagrave.com for personal reasons. By entering their information into this website, I am trying to accomplish two things: 1) I want to honor their lives and let others know about them, and 2) I am hoping to attain closure, which has been difficult for me to do thus far.
