Lawson, Gen. John Kelburne b. 1887 d. December 19, 1941 Canadian military figure. Born in the UK in 1887. He served in WWI where he won a Military Cros at the Battle of Passchendaele. Osborn, John Robert b. January 3, 1899 d. December 19, 1941 World War II Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Sergeant Major in the 1st Battalion Winnipeg Grenadiers. On December 19, 1941, in Hong Kong, China, Sergeant Major Osborn's company became divided during an attack.
