Sinton, John Alexander b. December 2, 1884 d. March 25, 1956 WWI Victoria Cross Recipient. During World War I, he was a member of the British Army and a Captain in the Indian Medical Service Unit. Throughout the day and well into the last light of day on January 21, 1916, he attended the sick and wounded under the hazardous battlefield conditions of flying shrapnel and rifle fire.
