Drowned, Vlad The b. 1512 d. September 18, 1532 Prince of Wallachia. Born the son of Vlad cel Tānar or Vlad the Younger, he was called Vlad Īnecatul. After Moise Prince of Wallachia, son of Vladilsav III, rebelled against the Ottoman overlords of the region, Vlad was appointed ruler in his stead. Vlad invaded Wallechia in May 1530 and by June, Moise had to take refuge in Sibiu.
