Thapa, Kulbir b. December 15, 1889 d. October 3, 1956 World War I British Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Rifleman, in the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Queen Alexandra's Own Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army. On September 25, 1915, his unit was in action against German forces at South Manquisart, France.
