Tosh (MacIntosh), Peter (Winston Hubert) b. October 19, 1944 d. September 11, 1987 Musician. Born Winston Hubert MacIntosh, he was singer, songwriter, guitarist and one of the pioneers of reggae music. With Bob Marley he formed the group the Wailers in 1963 and co-wrote many of the band's hits such as "Get Up, Stand Up" (1973). In 1975, he went solo made numerous concert appearances in the United States, Europe and appeared with Mick Jagger as a guest on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" in 1980.
