Cessna, Clyde Vernon b. December 5, 1879 d. November 20, 1954 Aviation Pioneer. Founder of the Cessna Aircraft Corporation in 1927. He is best remembered as an American aircraft designer, with his most famous inventions being the cantilever wing and the V shaped tail.
