Cochran, Charles Fremont b. September 27, 1846 d. December 19, 1906 US Congressman. From 1880 to 1884, he was the prosecuting attorney of Atchison County, Kansas. In 1885, he returned to Missouri, was the editor of St. Joseph Gazette and served in the State senate 1890 to 1894. In 1897, he was elected as a Democrat to the Fifty-fifth and to the three succeeding Congresses serving until 1905. Lane, Morgan D. b. 1844 d. July 22, 1892 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Private in the Union Army Signal Corps. At Jetersville, Virginia , April 6, 1865, Private Lane in advance of the Army, pursued and captured 7 rebels, to include 2 naval officers, 1 engineer, 1 acting signal officer, 3 enlisted men and the flag of the Confederate gunboat Nansemond.
