Allen, Willis b. December 6, 1806 d. April 15, 1859 US Congressman. Elected as a Democrat to represent Illinois' 2nd and 9th Districts in the Thirty-Second and Thirty-Third Congresses, he served from 1851 to 1855. Allen was born in Roanoke, Virginia, and worked as a farmer in Tennessee before moving to Franklin (now Williamson) County, Illinois in 1830. Bishop, Cecil William b. June 29, 1890 d. September 21, 1971 US Congressman. He was the city clerk of Carterville, Illinois, 1915 to 1918 and postmaster at Carterville, 1923 to 1933. In 1941, he was elected as a Republican to the Seventy-seventh Congress and to the six succeeding Congresses, serving until 1955. An unsuccessful candidate for reelection, he was a liaison assistant, at the Postal Department, Washington, D.C., 1955 to 1957, superintendent of Industrial Planning and Labor Conciliator for State of Illinois, 1958 to 1960. Denison, Edward Everett b. August 28, 1873 d. June 16, 1953 US Congressman. He was admitted to the bar in 1899, opened a law practice in Marion, Illinois and also engaged in the banking business. In 1915, he was elected as a Republican to the Sixty-fourth Congress and to the seven succeeding Congresses, serving until 1931. A unsuccessful candidate for reelection, he resumed the general practice of law and banking until his death. Malle, Anna b. September 14, 1967 d. January 25, 2006 Adult Film Actress. Born Anna Marie Stout in Havana, Illinois, she appeared in over 200 adult films, beginning in 1993. She used the stage name Anna Malle because it sounded like "animal", a not so subtle reference to her performances in front of the camera. Her most frequent co-star was her husband, Hank Armstrong.
