He served as a Sergeant 1st Class in Company E, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry, US Army. On January 2, 1951, Sergeant 1st Class Edwards' platoon was assigned to assist in the defense of a strategic hill area around Changbong-ni, Korea. Hossack, Margaret b. November 19, 1843 d. August 25, 1916 Alleged Murderess. She was considered the "Lizzie Borden of Iowa." She was accused of killing her husband, John Hossack, with an ax while he was sleeping in his bed.
