Buzzati, Dino b. October 16, 1906 d. January 28, 1972 Author. He was born in San Pellegrino, Belluno, Italy. In 1928, he began his work as journalist. But in the 30s, he began his career as writer. He is best known for his book "Il Deserto dei Tartari." Other of his works "Barnabo delle Montagne," "I Sette Messaggeri," "Il Colombre," "Un Caso Clinico," "La Famosa Invasione degli Orsi in Sicilia" and "Tre colpi alla Porta." He died in Milan.
