Foley, Alexander Joseph b. February 19, 1866 China Boxer Rebellion Medal of Honor Recipient. Foley served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He was awarded his medal for service during the China Boxer Rebellion. His citation reads-In the presence of the enemy in the battle near Tientsin, China, 13 July 1900, Foley distinguished himself by meritorious conduct.
