Andrews, George William b. December 12, 1906 d. December 25, 1971 US Congressman. He was elected as a Democratic Representative from Alabama to United States House of Representatives. He first represented Alabama's 3rd Congressional District from 1944 to 1963, then served as an At-Large Delegate from 1963 to 1965, then the 3rd District again from 1965 until his death in office in 1971.
