Billinghurst, Charles b. July 27, 1818 d. August 18, 1865 US Congressman. He was admitted to the bar in 1847 and commenced law practice in Juneau, Wisconsin. He was elected a member of the first State Legislature of Wisconsin in 1848 and was a presidential elector on the Democratic ticket in 1852. In 1855, he was elected as an Opposition Party candidate to the Thirty-fourth Congress and as a Republican to the Thirty-fifth Congress, serving until 1859.
