Brown, Jeremiah Z. b. November 7, 1839 d. February 19, 1916 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He enlisted in the 148th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and was mustered in as 1st Sergeant of Company K on September 7, 1862. After receiving promotions to 1st Lieutenant (November 15, 1863) and to Captain and company commander (July 31, 1864), he went on to perform a feat of bravery on October 27, 1864 during the Siege of Petersburg, Virginia, that would see him awarded the CMOH. Heidrick, R. Emmet b. July 29, 1876 d. January 20, 1916 Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder making his debut for the Cleveland Spiders on September 14, 1898. For eight seasons, he played with the Cleveland Spiders (1898), St. Louis Cardinals (1899-1901) and the St. Louis Browns (1902-04, 1908). He concluded his career with a record of 914 hits, 468 runs scored, 16 home runs, 342 runs batted in and a .300 batting average. Lobaugh, Donald Ronald b. February 7, 1925 d. July 22, 1944 World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Private in the United States Army in the 127th Infantry, 32d Infantry Division. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on July 22, 1944 near Afua, New Guinea.
