Bigbee, Carson 'Skeeter' b. March 31, 1895 d. October 17, 1964 Major League Baseball Player. He spent 11 seasons in the major leagues as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1916 to 1926. He played collegiate baseball at the University of Oregon before joining the major leagues. He made his major league debut at the age of 21 on August 24, 1916. Some of his known opponents were George Fulljames (from whom he won the title), Jack Fogarty, and Billy McCarthy. He was defeated by Bob Fitzsimmons in 1891.
