Bliss, Phillip Paul [cenotaph] b. July 9, 1838 d. December 29, 1876 Hymn Writer and Musician. Phillip and his wife Lucy died in a train wreck in Ashtabula, Ohio, when the bridge that the train was on collapsed. Their remains where placed in a grave marked by a cenotaph in the Ashtabula Cemetery in Ohio and the 2nd cenotaph in the Cemetery in Rome, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Giddings, Joshua Reed b. October 6, 1795 d. May 27, 1864 US Congressman. Elected to represent Ohio's 16th and 20th Districts in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1858 to 1859. McColl, Alexander Boyd 'Red' b. March 29, 1894 d. February 6, 1991 Major League Baseball Player. He was a right handed pitcher, making his debut at age 39 for the Washington Senators on August 29, 1933. For two seasons, he played with the Washington Senators (1933-34), as a middle relief pitcher. He finished his career with a record of 4 wins, 4 loss, 2 complete games, 1 save, 34 strikeouts and a 3.70 earned run average. Wade, Benjamin Franklin b. October 27, 1800 d. March 2, 1878 US Senator. He was President Pro-tempore of the Senate during the trial of President Andrew Johnson.
